Lance looked over at Kevin. He could sense Kevin's hesitancy to take any further what Lance thought Kevin wanted. Unfortunately, Lance wasn't sure whether he wanted Kev to go any further.

The two young men sat for a while, chatting about the usual things, the short-version biographies, the hobbies, the interests. But underneath the talk, Lance could feel Kevin looking for an opening, a sign of interest, the green light to advance to the next stage of what Lance felt was surely an intended seduction. Lance also realized that he had unconsciously not let that light turn red, but had kept it on yellow. Lance's heart began to beat a little faster and he felt a slight flush as he decided that the light was going to have to change soon. But which way?
