"Yeah, I'm fine!" You reply, though you feel a bit awkward as it's not entirely true. "I'm just a little... surprised, that's all!"

"I should've told you she was coming over..." Rachel is quick to admit, and you can see her blushing again while she too is trying to cover up the full story of Katie's visit. "She was just passing by when I called her, and decided to pop in as I told her about my hangover..."

"Well, I don't mind you inviting your friends!" You tell her, and even manage a quick grin, though you wonder if she's lying about this part as well. Perhaps she's even had Katie over several times a week, while you weren't at home, though for some reason you doubt it. So you decide to believe her story for now, and do your best to keep acting like nothing happened. "It would be nice to see her again, and a little more often."

"And what's that supposed to mean...?" She flashes you a smile in return, obviously relieved as the tension eases between you, and making you feel the same when you get back to your normal jargon.

"Well, she is rather cute after all!" You return with a wink, and notice that hint of jealosity returning to her eyes, as it had done before whenever you mentioned her good-looking friend. The fact that you know something more about the two of them is momentarily forgotten while you tease eachother, and you gladly keep going as long as it's keping you occupied.

"It's a matter of taste I guess." Rachel shrugs, and then winks at you while she turns to head back upstairs. She already knows what you like her body, and there's no doubt she's exaggerating the sway of her hips while she's walking up the stairs, only this time you find yourself searching for any signs of her 'big secret' instead of just staring at her beautiful rear...

The rest of the day you spend in a confusing haze, as you continue to think about what you've witnessed in Rachel's room. Eventually you've played it out so many times in your mind that you barely even know if it actually happened for real, or if it was just a strange act of your imagination.

You know it's true however, as you recall the scene with perfect clarity. Especially the part where Rachel was riding on top of her lover, with her own appendage fully exposed and waving in the air...

When your housemate comes out from her studies you notice that there's still a certain tension between you, and you make your dinner together in unusual silence. She blames it on the last remains of her hangover, which is quite convenient, though you know there's a lot more to it than that.

"Is there... something you'd like to ask me about...?" She finally wonders, just as you've finished eating, and you find yourself in another awkward situation while you try and come up with something to say.
