As you set out toward the wilderness, it quickly dawns on you that innocuous farmland is not often juxtaposed with monster-rich areas. All you see in your immediate vicinity are critters that mirrored your original existence, and after pecking a couple snakes in half, you discover that they do not even yield experience. Is this what your life was? Had you been so worthless that even the lowest hero or monster gained nothing from your ****? Thinking back to those few instances in which a hero or NPC had killed you anyway, the world begins to take on a slightly more sadistic hue.
Your search fruitless and your mood soured, you begin heading back to the farm, wondering what the occasional passing adventurer will think of the farm occupied by a now monstrous chicken. If anything, you've only increased your chances of being attacked for the sheer novelty of it. You cluck and warble miserably, dragging your massive feet.
Just then, you hear a cry from a nearby outcrop

You come into being as a low-level monster, the kind heroes chew through like popcorn. You know the drill, whether you're a player yourself or an artificial intelligence, and you're sick of it. You set out on your own quest: to defeat the heroes at any cost (or at least be an epic boss somewhere down the line).
