Not so much morning, but...

Ruby was trying to sleep when Zwei pawed at her. "Zwei, it's late... Go back to bed," she whined. But Zwei ran out and Ruby groaned, getting up.

"Ruby, what's wrong?" Jaune yawned.

"Oh, it's nothing I guess Zwei just ran out to do his business, I'll make sure he comes back in," she grumbled, going out.

Jaune shrugged and rolled back over. After a bit of time, Yang came over with Nora, both of them having been on watch. "Weiss, Pyrrha, it's your turn to... Wait... Where's Ruby?" Yang asked. Jaune shot up, wondering how much time passed since Ruby had gone out. They then heard barking, and Zwei ran in... Without Ruby.

"Oh dear, this is not good!" Oobleck shouted frantically. "Grab your weapons! One of your leaders may be in trouble!"

Everyone was up and went out, following where Zwei was leading them, and soon found Crescent Rose at the edge of a hole in the streets. "Ruby's weapon!" Yang shouted, even as Weiss went to pick it up.

"What's with that hole?" Jaune asked, looking into it. "You guys don't think..."

"Ruby is down there?" Pyrrha finished.

"Of course! How could I have been so blind!?" Oobleck dramatically declared, before going into a long and fast chatter about some underground subway system and natural caves in the city.

"Uh... So what are you saying?" Yang asked slowly.

"My dear, we're not just looking for an underground crime ring, we're looking for an UNDERGROUND crime ring!" Oobleck declared, grabbing Yang's shoulders in his fervor. He then went into an explanation as to how the city had worked for a short while, but was doomed from the start without the natural protections of Vale's geography. To make a final attempt at survival, the people had moved into the cave systems they had cleared out for their subway... At least until an explosion of unknown origin had opened up a path from the surface... Where hordes of Grimm could get in. Vale had them written off the expansion project and sealed off the subway tunnels, and turned the city into the world's largest tomb.

"...if Ruby is down there," Oobleck finally said, prepping his weapon. "Then we need to find her..."
