Chapter 7
by clayboy69
So much for divine guidance... Is Liandra ready for her marriage now?
Not so fast!
A sinister gleam entered Liandra's eyes. She was naive in the ways of sex, yes, but not naive in the ways of the gods. She turned to the shrine, addressing the golden idols therein.
"You have borne witness to the events that have transpired. For a god to transfer his power, he must deny his godhood, fill the new host with his divine essence, and give the new host both a blessing and a geas to take up the mantle! 'The gods aren't hungry, I am', Yogodol said, and thereby denied his divinity. He made me swear to take his essence, and bestowed both it and blessings upon me. And now he has afflicted me with a geas! Behold! I hereby vow not to take up the divine spark of Yogodol! I vow not to inherit the twin powers of Spring and Joy!"
The words rang out in the shrine, and a mighty tempest swirled through the doors, slamming them open. Yogodol clung to them, now weary, as a burning ecstasy kindled in Liandra's heart then swept through her from head to toe. She was being filled with all the blossoming power of a thousand springs, the joy of every sunrise and of every lover, as a radiant aura burst around her.
It was the easiest thing in the world to levitate midair, buoyed by the divine **** now within her.
The muscular man who was once a god looks up at the god who was once a princess, overwhelmed now by the light emanating from her. "Mercy" he asks.
Should Liandra grant it?
