Chapter 10
by SingingLark
Does Ellaya even understand what Emi just said?
Not really
"I am no stranger to dealings with spirits, Emi... I didn't understand what you just said, but I assume you need my permission to do something." Ellaya was far more worried about tracking than whatever the holographic image was cooking up. "Do you need it to help me find your friends?"
"No. I can explain it in detail if you... " Emi was now reduced to only her face, to save visor space. Like that she did look a bit elfin, which made the noble elf a bit more at ease.
"Not now. Is that deal common place in... Ithaca, wasn't it?" the tracks ended in a large clearing, it couldn't be more than four hundred meters away from where the attack happened. There were the remains of four bonfires, which suggested a much larger group.
"It isnt unusual. Private Sakamata, for example..." again the spirit began to talk, was she oblivious to where they were? it couldnt be, her visor was abuzz with activity, highlighting footprints of various shapes and forms.
"If that is the case than it is fine. I don't care. What is it that I am seeing?"
"Subject #1 is 6'8" and 450 pounds, including equipment. Subject #2 is 4'3" and 98 pounds, including equipment. Subject #3 is 9'10" and 800 pounds, unarmed..."
"If all you are going to tell me is their size and weight, you dont need to continue. By the high court!" as she neared the last circle it was obvious to her that something very different happened there. There were signs of struggle, of large bodies pressed on the ground; there was the distinct smell of dried blood mixed in the mud. There was so much going on it was hard to imagine what was going on...
The visor was going crazy, flipping between the different track signs. Until they finally vanished, all of them, except for Emi´s face "I am sorry, the recognition software in this visor is too primitive. It just doesnt have the parameters to read what happened here."
Not that Ellaya was in a much better situation. She was a noble, after all, not a ranger. She read extensively and had decades of superb education, but honestly she didnt have the experience to handle with things like this. Where was Galwynn, and the rest of her guards?
"There are two narrow, deep holes at the base of that tree. I think they kept your masters in chains over there." She tip toed to the location, and knelt next to the tree "A short chain, by the neck, forcing them to remain crouching here. You can see the dirtied spot here, where their hands tried to pull off the spike. But not many, they were **** to not try to escape. A man and a woman."
A few lines flickered, and the image of each of the soldiers was superposed over the tree truck. "I am taking notes, for further investigation"
"I think the man went first, " Ellaya swallowed, her heart was beating so fast. " Orcs sometimes fight their prisoners. They are a cruel, violent race, and it amuses them to crush what little hope their captives have left. Often they give a warrior they deem worthy a weapon, and a coward they give a broken weapon. I think they gave him a battleaxe."
"The woman didn't put a struggle. She was probably too scared by what they did to Corporal Thompson. They ... " Ellaya frowned, as she traced the steps she read on the ground. "They made her dance. Dance and strip, I think. There were several of them gathered around, maybe even all of them. One of the small ones, a goblin I think, hushed at her, and she tried to kick him, but he grabbed her feet, tripping her. By now her breasts were out, and the little devil began to **** them. Another three joined in, they **** her to ... manhandle their cocks. I think they came fast."
"Next came an Orc, a big brute. Probably the one that fought Corporal Thomson. He must have been very... horny... by now. He wanted to mate her, but she was too slow for his taste. Of course she was too slow, if it took a second she would have been too slow. He manhandled her with ease, she was too light in his monstrous hands. Still his presence oppressed her, intimidated her. She must have known it was impossible to avoid her fate, but still... she had to fight, at least a little"
"He didnt violate her at once. He toyed with her body. And to her horror, she was beginning to answer to his advances. " Ellaya touched another tree trunk, feeling the emotions left craved there. "She had her belly down when he took her. She couldnt escape his weight. She..." Tracking always involved a bit of anticipation and prediction, which was dangerously close to pure imagination. Ellaya recognized that, at some point she left behind interpretation of signs and began to project her own fantasies into it. Where exactly did it happen? She hoped that whatever small respite these space men could have enjoyed really happened, and vowed to do all she could to really rescue them from their captors.
"Are you done? sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt" Emi's image turned a brighter blue again. "Your account gives 88% chance that the traitor is Sergeant Kyle, the ranking officer in ADL3-V. As an alpha type, it is unlikely that she would have willingly submitted to her captors. Furthermore we can count ourselves fortunate; Private Sakamata´s diabetes VI could became vicious if her protein needs weren't attended to. Her survival chances just increased three fold and her escape chances increased twenty folds."
