Chapter 11 by anonenffan anonenffan

Is Mackenzie truly safe there? How does she pass the time?

Not quite, Mackenzie must hide!

Mackenzie took a deep breath and put her head against her forehead. 'Why didn't I just run for the locker room? It was right. There.' All she could do was groan in frustration. Abbey was looking for a towel, as well. Technically, she would still be without proper clothing on her way back to the locker room. With a heavy sigh, she relaxed her guard, believing herself to be safe in the noisy laundry room. The naked girl took a moment to search the room for any form of cover, be it a towel or a forgotten uniform. While she found additional bottles of soap and some fabric softeners, her search for wearable fabric left her empty handed and unclothed.

As Mackenzie approached the driers in hopes of forgotten clothing, she heard the earie creak of the door. Her pulse jumped and her blood ran cold. Arms scrambled to covering positions as she bolted behind one of the washing machines. She did her best to keep quiet, but her naked skin still crawled with goose bumps. Again, Mackenzie tried to curl into a little ball, as if it made her less naked. Teeth sinking into her lower lip, Mackenzie poked her head around the corner of the washing machine.

By the doorway, stood a man in a uniform, much like Abbey's. His hand went for his pocket to fish for his phone while he leaned against the door. Once he had it out, his fingers began dancing across the screen.

Mackenzie's face turned crimson as she recoiled back behind the machine. Not only was that not Abbey, they had an easy way to take a picture of Mackenzie's nakedness. 'No. No no no no no no no! He didn't see me, right? I can't let him see me.' The naked red-head tried to scoot a little further behind the washing machine, all in an effort to hide better.

"Ah ha! Stay right there!"

Her blood ran cold.

"I have you now!"

Mackenzie's pulse skyrocketed. Her whole body trembled. It was over. Her life was over.

"Gotcha!"

"N-no..." Mackenzie's voice barely squeeked out.

"Yes! Got the shiny one! Been trying to catch it all day!"

Mackenzie froze. A single blink told the world her body was still alive. Her head began to creak out of cover, to see the employee pumping his fist while looking at his phone, flashing colorful lights from a mobile game.

"Heh heh, Abbey's gonna be so jealous!" He put his phone in his pocket, pushed open the door and left.

Mackenzie slumped onto the floor, only aware of her heart beat. A cold sweat coated her skin, while she sat there, contemplating her luck in that moment. Then, of all things, she let out a dry laugh. She pushed a little hair out of her face while she reassembled her composure. Complete and total disaster just flew past her, and she reacted like reality was going to fall apart. All because that employee was playing some stupid game.

"I guess I can't complain..." she sighed.

What happens next?
