Kazuma put his hands up in defense. "No! What are you talking about! I wanna steal its gear without it knowing I'm here!"

Aqua looked concerned. "Okay, just don't take her panties! I don't want any dirty lich coming into our sex parties!"

"Her? You can tell from here? Huh. Well, whatever, wasn't planning on it." He turned towards the entity, peering out from behind the gravestone they were hiding behind. "On that note, Steal!"

As he got the entity's cloak, and heard her thoughts, he then processed a part of what Aqua said. "...wait, a Lich?"

"I really want to have some luck with my business this year. And someone warm to hug would be nice too," the thoughts entered Kazuma's head. Huh, they seemed way less evil than he was expecting for someone in a graveyard. Not to mention apparently being a lich.

As the female lich reacted to the disappearance of her cloak, and the sudden sensual pleasure, Aqua decided to strike, moving with the intent to purify the lich, who screamed in a high pitched voice as she snapped out of her momentary pleasure to see herself being attacked.

Kazuma facepalmed. "What was the point of me going stealthy if you were just gonna run in, divinity blazing!"

Aqua proceeded to throw the girl down, and began stomping the spell circle, causing the Lich to protest, "Wait, stop! I'm trying to send these souls up to heaven! The priests won't deal with them!"

"Silence! Such matters are for those of Holy classes to handle, not the Unholy! Now, I shall purify this entire graveyard, you included!" Aqua declared in a pompous manner. "Turn Undead!"

Aqua's magic spread out, and began making the lich disappear, even as she begged for mercy. That was, until Kazuma whacked the back of Aqua's head with the hilt of his sword. Thunk! "Ow! What the hell was that for!?"

"She clearly isn't evil! You dummy!" He turned to the lich. "Sorry about her. She has an unfortunate case of stupid. A severe one at that."

The Lich immediately hid behind Kazuma as he glared at Aqua. "Seriously, Kazuma, you know what a Lich is, right?" Megumin asked as she pinched the bridge of her nose.

"Top tier undead, right?" Kazuma shrugged. "She doesn't seem hostile though, even though she has every right to retaliate at the moment."

Megumin stared at the lich's chest. "Are you sure that's the reason you're defending her?" she asked him flatly.

"... it's a reason," Kazuma replied, honestly.
