It is getting quite late by the time you finally make your way into the massive crowd of people. You push your way in passed the throngs of partying crowd trying to take it all in as you go. Pulling up anything your computer can tell you about the company that you stole the prototype from on your computer, you quickly scan everything till you spot something that you think might help. It seems a rival company named “Ameradine Industries” claimed that the company you robbed stole some things from them a month ago to a reporter. Further checking reveals that the same reporter was murdered two weeks ago. Digging deeper you see had done a piece on the new anti-hacking laws and referenced a hacker by the name of Devil girl, also in the story you find the name Misty, that you cross reference to Ameradine and see that they had a single employee by the name of Misty Swan in their employ till the day of the theft, at which her pay was terminated for no reason given. Digging deeper you find her personal file with her picture as well as her address. As you click in the address you then reference that address and find it has been broken into several times in the past few days and neighbors have filed complaints that several armed men were sighted in her place. Going back to the name you found earlier, Devil girl, you dig into any site where you find a reference to that handle and eventually find a bar that while it doesn't exactly reference that handle it has a girl working there that a partying young lady says on her blog that she loves the hot Devil girl working at club Inferno. Further digging into the club Inferno, you try to find any kind of employee records but while you are digging into this you spot a little black spot growing in your vision and something tells you this is an anti-hacking program that has detected your digging so you break the link instantly. As you come to the Troll standing in front of you is now looking down at you and as you panic for a second you realize you are sitting on a couch. A quick look around reveals you are now in a rather luxurious room surrounded by a handsome man 3 beautiful women, and the troll. Blinking you ask, “What happened?”

The handsome man is the one to answer, “You tell us. My guard asked you a question and you simply zoned off and stood there like a statue. After a few minutes he decided to bring you in here and sit you down. Were you hacking the net or something?”

“I guess I was, how long was I out?”

“What the hell were you doing that for? Don't you know time in the net is only 10x reality. You must of searched around the net for what a couple of hours to have been standing there that long.

“I guess, how silly of me. I guess I got lost. He asked me a question and I wanted to impress you with the information you were looking for so you would hire me.”

“Is that so? So did you find out where I can find the person I am looking for?”

“Yes I did. I know exactly where they are and why nobody can find them.”

“Really. Well I guess I have to hire you then don't I. Fine, I have already hired a team to find out just that, but if you know then obviously you will find them long before my team does, won't you. How long do you think it will take to bring them to me?”

“Well I guess a couple of hours at most, unless I get stuck in traffic.” You answer with a grin.

“Well what are you waiting for. Go get her. If you get back in a couple of hours I suppose I will have to pay you.”

“Cool thanks.” Hopping up you head for the exit. As you do you see a beautiful woman is standing there holding your two guns. “Oh thank you.” You say politely as she hands them to you, and you tuck them into their respective holsters.

On the clock now, you quickly make your way the most direct route possible through the crowd trying your best to both ignore everyone and everything around you as well as maintaining a good jog. As you exit the building it finally dawns on you just how fast you were moving, and how slow it seemed the rest of the crowd was moving when you put your mind to it. “Wow, I guess I am kinda twitchy. I am gonna have to watch that, I think that doc wired me kinda wrong.” You say to the air as you reach your car and your internal clock says you just did what took you 2 hours going in only 15 minutes. Firing the car to life you are soon racing across town to the bar called “The Inferno.”
