John could already see his house in the distance. As expected he had not seen a single person on the way here, so as he turned right to go onto his frontyard the bat suddenly was next to him.

"Where are you going, human? We haven't found any food yet!" Suddenly he didn't feel as confident anymore. He had the condition that he would die, if he broke the deal, but would that also apply to the bat? What if he would just be hurt and then feel free to attack him or his mother inside. John had brought this monster to his own home. How stupid was he to do so?

"Y-yes, we didn't encounter any. I am home now. That was our deal, you have to go now." He tried to sound firm, but there was little **** in his voice.

"I don't think so." The bat said. "I would have let you go, if you fed me. But now you will be my food. You know about me and I am not swallowed by the earth already, so there is no need to pull you into a barrier. Don't try to run, stupid human!" The bat said and charged at him again. This time John was truly out of ideas, but lucky for him he didn't need any more. His deals conditions were not met and the bat was hit by the punishment. He was uncertain if it would always be **** but for the bat it clearly was.

The giant monster fell to the ground as if struck by invisible lightning, including the burns.

Alright! He did it. The bat was dead, no more around and his house was safe from monsters again. He entered and saw all the lights turned off. His mother must have went to bed already. Weird, he had assumed her to be awake and worried about him. Truth be told, he was happy she wasn't. It meant she could find some rest, but it somehow still stung his feelings. Did she not care if he came home late?

John went up in his room. He originally had planned to go to bed once home, but now there was no need. After recieving all his mana back, he felt fully awake. Honestly, he had already spend 5 hours sleeping in the train car, so why sleep again now already? Instead he turned on the PC. He looked at his desktop and the options of which game to play. Half a minute later he still hadn't decided. No matter which game, they all seemed dull to him now, that he had an action filled day in real life to compare them to.

After giving up on games he just opened his inventory and checked the items he had stolen today. A watch, a pair of panties and Paws stuff. He instantly threw away the panties. No need to keep them, since they were just stuff he got from a random woman on the street.

The first item he had gotten from Paw was her cell phone. He better kept it in his inventory. In case she pinged it or something. The other one was a small silver ball. Upon further investigation he just read the item description.

Okay, this was surprising, but not too surprising to John. Laura Vannenhof, or Paw, was a masochist. Based on her behaviour, he would have guessed so himself, but having proof was always better. For a second he considered equipping it himself, just to be more resistant to damage, but getting a boner whenever he was attacked would probably end up with more problems than it would solve.
