Not as expected

When you got between Alex's gorgeous legs you looked down confused to see that Alex was crying silently. Tears going down her face as she looked up at you helplessly. You pulled away to sit next to her on the edge of the bed. "What's...wrong Alex?" You whispered trying to comfort her.

"Everything...is just going too fast! And It's not your fault...I thought if I jumped head first into this and was the one to initiate it. That I feel like I have some agency. You know? But...I just am not ready yet. You were great. One the kindest and sweetest persons I have met...but I can't do this right now." She said between sobs, the upset dripping through her voice as much as those artificially produced tears dripped from her eyes.

"...yeah...It's ok Alex. We don't have to do this now...if it all. You want me to go into the bathroom so you could get dressed?" You said with concern.

"No it's fine...I don't think there is much sense hiding our bodies from each other now. It's something I gotta get used to...and I don't want you to call me Alex anymore. Alex is a living breathing person...and I am no longer her." She said no long crying, she moved to sit next to you on the edge of the bed looking at the floor.

"What do you want to be called?" You asked softly.

"I don't really know...but for now might as well call me Alcina. Just like her I am not a real person. Just some fantasy, not even a fully developed character yet. At least to anyone not working on the game." She said bitterly.

"You're still a person...whatever you want to be called, I will support you. But you have memories, thoughts, complex emotions, and I guess you had goals and ambitions but what that is now might be hard to grasp." You said to her trying to find the words. "Life has been turned on its head for you...and this is not an easy thing to transition to...so just tell me if you need anything to make things more comfortable for you besides getting you clothes today."

You added, and with that she looked up at you.

"I almost forgot that we were going to do that today...Thanks for being a good person Andros." She said as she sat straight looking down at you.

"Don't mention it. I honestly don't think I could live with myself any other way." You said looking up at her as the room started to fill with the orange light of sunrise.

"Hug?" She asked with her arms opened up.

"Hug" you say as you turn to accept her embrace, it was silent except for the birds that chirped outside the window, the world was finally waking up. You held each other for a while, you could feel at times her tears fall on your shoulder.

“Al--...Alcina...What do you want to do?” You whisper to her after a while of you both silently holding each other.

“I don’t know Andros…” She says as she lets out a deep breath.

“You feeling up to putting on some clothes? Why don’t we watch something on the couch. You can pick. Whatever is going to make you feel better.” You offer.

“...Ok...Fine...I will put on some clothes...but can I have some ice-cream while we watch.” She asked as she slowly pulled away from you and stood up before depressingly waddling to her drawer to put on another set of monochrome casual clothes. After getting quickly dressed in sweats and t-shirt you went to grab the remote and logged onto your smart tv, you had netflix, hulu, and shudder set up on the tv.

“Here you go. Go find something you want to watch...I am going to bring up some snacks...and your ice-cream” You said as you handed her the remote.

“Tank you” She puffed before grabbing the remote and falling backwards into the couch.
