Not For Long

Nathan found the rest of the shopping trip absolutely nerve-wracking. With each new aisle, he went down, Nathan expected to run into his infected sister and her newly turned sissiboi. He found leaving the store to be a triumphant relief as he shouldered his rucksack and began the walk home. As Nathan wandered down the street he had the feeling that someone was watching his every step.

After coming to a temporary stop and looking around Nathan couldn't see anyone but increased his pace regardless. As he approached his home Nathan became unnerved by the sight of his door which was slightly ajar. Nathan felt his chest tighten as he desperately tried to quell the panic that was building within. Taking a few calming breaths he pulled the baguette out from his rucksack and wandered inside.
