North to get some water

The first thing Alice needed to do was find some water. She decided to follow some of the huge flying bug. These bugs looked like dragon flies. She figured that those type of bugs would travel near water. The bugs seemed to be buzzing north. Alice admitted to herself that might be able to eat one of the unpleasant looking insects if push came to shove.

So she followed the monstrous looking insects deeper into the jungle, making sure not to show herself to much. She grabbed a large stick so she could fend off any animal that might stray too near.

Alice pushed through the dense jungle and the sounds of the alien jungle surrounded her. Sounds of chirping bugs and distant howls of some strange beast.

After just a short while Alice found the watering hole. It was a small body of water not far from the crash site. It seemed a popular spot; strange three eyed bugs drank from it as did some of the red furred creatures.

One of the little red apes also carried a stick in its hand. Alice didn't know how long the small primate would remain by the water. The question was whether it was best to wait and let the red ape move on or try to scare if off now.
