You're on your way to the school, you send another invitation to Jessica to eat together. She declines once again:
[Sorry but I'm busy today too...]
[Are you avoiding me?] You wait for an answer that seems to never come.
[No.]
[Please tell me what's wrong I won't be able to guess what's the issue.] She seems to think about it.
[Fine, behind the main building after class.]
[Sure, I'll be there.] You assure her.
[Alone.] You agree once again and put your phone down. You wonder why she wants to talk to you alone. Maybe she doesn't like Penny and Ashley. You might understand the frustration of talking to someone who's constantly surrounded like you are.
You arrive at the gate and you can see your girls talking to each other, you start sweating and you try to avoid them. They are more alert than they let you believe because both of them notice you as you cross their path.
"John! Hey! We're here!" Say Ashley while trying to get your attention, you start getting some attention. At this point, you can't ignore them. You start sweating and you turn around.
"Sorry Ladies! I didn't see you." You try to act as if everything is alright.
Penny gets closer. "Are you okay? You sound weird." Your anxiety is kicking again.
"I-I'm just a little tired, that's all." Ashley starts intervening too.
"Really? You don't look good. We can bring you to the nurse if you want." You aren't a very good actor apparently.
"Don't worry! Don't worry! I'm fine... Anyway... I don't want to be late. See you later..." You flee the entrance. At least you're not in the same class...
You enter the class, sit down, and then someone enters and approaches you.
Jeremy, still looking as plain and normal as usual, takes a chair and sits in front of you in reverse, putting the chair's back between his legs.
"Hey man, that was not cool." He declares.
"What? What are you talking about?" You might have sounded irritated because you are. But you can't simply avoid interacting with people.
"I saw you avoiding your girls... No offense but you should treat them better." He looks ready to sermon you.
"What the fuck are you talking about? You don't know anything, leave me alone."
"Oh, seems like I touched a sensitive point. Hey don't want to make you angry but don't forget that they have feeling too alright?"
He pauses a moment for dramatic effect, but he didn't say anything impressive so it falls flat.
"Well, I have something else to ask... Can I have your physics homework? I won't simply copy it! I'll change it a little so I don't get caught."
You sigh, you're too kind for this world... You hand him your homework and he leaves you alone.
