Meal²

You arrive at the cafeteria, you don't have a meal prepared in advance this time, you think back to Kana, you don't know what happened yesterday but you heard her play, it was good.

You go towards the waiting line but you're quickly interrupted by Ashley.

"Hey John, you don't need to wait in line... I made you food last night."

"Really? Thanks!" You go sit down next to her. You wonder if she noticed the food you had yesterday, she didn't make any remark so it surprises you a little. But you're not the kind to refuse a meal.

Unfortunately for you, there isn't one but two meals ready for you. You can see penny blush, and you understand that she cooked for you too.

"Thanks girls... But I can't eat both of them alone." You say trying to get out of this awkward situation. Penny's eyes start getting watery, it might be fake but Ashley took that seriously and is looking at you with a tinge of anger.

"Fine, fine. I'll eat them both... But please, don't make me two servings from now on..." They regain their mood and start talking about a rotation in their cooking schedule.

You start eating, you try to be fast as you know that letting your body digest would make you unable to finish your two plates.

Penny is smiling directly at you while Ashley looks a little disappointed. You look down at your plate and you indeed started by eating Penny's meal. You start alternating between the two and Ashley smiles again.

I don't really mind at this point but jealousy is so tiring. Your guilt toward them isn't helping you either.
