***Author's note: This chapter deals with ****, so for those of you this may trigger just be aware.***

You arrive back at the inn and step inside. You see Annabel chatting with the inn keeper and you approach behind her wrapping your arms around her in a hug. She leans into the hug and holds your arms as she hums in contentment.

"So did it all go well" you ask her as you disengage from the hug. Annabel stands and gives Yvette a hug before answering.

"Yes, I got the amount I wanted and Copper kept Mr. Grabby at bay beautifully" Annabel explained.

"Great, not going to lie and say I wasn't worried a bit" you confessed.

"Never know how men like that will act when they want to get their way" you stated.

"Oh trust me" Annabel said nodding her head "I know exactly how they act" she stared a little distantly when she finished her statement. You were suddenly worried that something bad may have happened in her past, but you weren't going to pry into it without her starting the conversation. Especially not right now. You stroked her arm and she snapped back to reality.

"So, should we go visit Jane now" you suggested everyone. They both nodded their head and you went out to collect Copper again. The Dino equipment shop wasn't far, nothing was in this town, and as you approached you could hear some yelling from inside. You each looked at each other a bit alarmed and in synch with each other approached the shop with a bit more speed. As you approached you could hear the yelling a bit more clearly.

"Gods, get out of here and leave me alone already". "Don't tell me what to do you slut". "I'm not a slut just because I won't fuck you anymore". "Oh I'm going to fuck you again, c'mere slut". "Stop, let go of me".

That was about as far as you were willing to let it go and you burst through the large door. The arrangement of the shop was spacious with any gear she had hanging on the walls. In the middle of the shop stood Jane you assumed and some guy. He was pretty strong by the looks of it. They both stood frozen staring wide eyed at you. The guy had her wrist in his left hand and his other hand he had on the waist of his pants. You knew you didn't want to kill anyone tonight so you had to think fast.

"Jane, how the hell are you" you exclaimed. "Hey Copper, come see Jane, it's been a while, let her see how much you've grown" you called back to Copper. Copper came waltzing through the door to stand beside you. The moment Copper walked in the guy let go of Jane's wrist and back a step away from her. You could see the fear in his eyes as he watched Copper approach you.

"Oh don't worry guy" you smirked "Copper here is harmless" you pointed a thumb at him. "Well...mostly" you add. "He'd definitely attack someone who was **** someone else" you say with a serious look on your face staring the guy down.

You let a moment pass without saying anything as the guy seems too scared to move. You quickly adopt a smile on your face again.

"It's a good thing that isn't what is happening here right" you ask laughing. "It'd be really awkward if Copper had to rip someone's face off. It's always such a pain to clean up. Little bits and pieces get everywhere" you continue laughing. "So did I interrupt something important guy" you stare at the man waiting for him to answer.

"Uh...um...n-n-no" he stutters out. "In f-fact I was just leaving" he says walking towards the door and giving you and Copper a wide berth.

"Oh, ok, don't let me keep you from anything then. We'll just catch up later yah? How about the next time you ever come near Jane again? We can catch up then and see where things take us. I'll bring Copper along to play too. It'll be a good old time...for Copper" you continue smiling at him.

"So when's the next time you'll come see Jane again" you ask him.

"I don't kn...I mean...I might not...um...I-I don't think I w-will see Jane again" the man continues for the door.

"Oh well. I know Copper will be disappointed he doesn't get to eat someone's face, but that was the right answer...guy" you cross your arms and the smile on your face disappears. "So go ahead and run along now, and hopefully I don't have to ever clean up any little bits Copper leaves behind after playing with you. Understand" you ask. The man just nods his head and dashes out the door.
