Monica’s demeanour changed. She donned an expression of a strict headmistress.

“We don’t do that here, Jason. You know that. It’s always the second of the month.”

Monica slowly walked towards Jason. She was now standing just a foot away from him.

Jason was struggling to reply. “You know I am regular on my rent. It was an issue at work.”

“Well, I have come too far to go without payment.” Monica whispered.

Jason could feel her breath on his neck. He had goosebumps on his hands.

Monica pushed Jason lightly. Jason was too shocked to react and fell on the chair near him.

“Now, stay still.”

Monica brought herself very close to Jason, almost sitting on his lap. She grabbed his tie.

“What are you doing?” the confused Jason asked.
