Chapter 10 by bsnick
Does the "dream" return?
Nope
You vaguely hear the slam of a door but you're asleep so fast you don't even remember it when you eventually wake up. You also don't remember any dreams, dammit.
When you wake up it's to the sound of your alarm.
"Six already?" you groan. It feels like you haven't slept at all. You'd roll over and go back to bed if you didn't know your Mom would be home soon. If you were still in bed when she came in she'd kill you.
"Probably wouldn't kill Sue, though," you gripe, which reminds you of the dream you had. It was a dream, right? Somehow you can't erase the niggling doubts.
Getting up you trudge out of your room without bothering to change. Why bother when you're not going out. It's something else your Mom harps on about. Personal hygiene, keeping things clean and in their 'proper' place, eating your veggies. Stupid things like that. Sue, of course, acts all perfect.
Speaking of Sue, where is she? Wandering over to her room you press your ear against her closed door, wondering if she might be inside. In your dream she'd had such a kick-ass body that you're dying to see if the real one compares.
"Hi Sue, what's going on?" you say as you barge in.
What do you see in Sue's room?
