The family, with some disappointment, but no resentment towards Oz, moved on and found shelter after walking for a few more days. They were ragged and dirty in the end, but still full of hope that their future would be bright.

The husband and wife found normal jobs in the end and lived a normal life. Their children grew up. The wife divorced the man after he cheated on her with an evil woman who soon left the man.
