Smooth talker?
Nope, but it works anyways
It's good that slapstick comedy is a thing, because as you try to stand from your stretch, your knee gives out from under you and you faceplant in an awkward pose.
Kaylee busts out laughing before covering her mouth.
"I'm sorry! Are you okay? Lemme help you up." She extends a hand to you, more ego bruised than face. "I shouldn't have laughed like that, but you looked so goofy."
"I'm alright, I just feel dumb." You take her offered hand and stand back up, dusting yourself off. "I-uh, yeah, I'd like a running partner. I clearly could use the help. I'm Aaron."
"I'm Kaylee," she introduces back. You almost said 'I know,' before remembering that you weren't supposed to know that yet. "I think you're done with stretches for now. Let's hit the trail."
You agree, not wanting to embarass yourself even more.
