Noah pushes her away

Noah froze, his mind screaming at him to stop. Olivia's image flashed in his mind, his new bride, the love of his life.

He pushed her away. "No. I can't. We can't. I'm married, Eunhwa."

Her eyes widened, hurt and embarrassment playing across her features. "Right," she muttered, stepping back. “Got it. Olivia is your everything. Fuck me, I guess."

A roar outside the door snapped them back to reality. Noah gripped his rifle, determination etched on his face. "Come on, Eunhwa. We're getting out of here. Together."

The door burst open, and the first zombie lunged toward Eunhwa. She swung her bat, the impact cracking its skull. Before Noah could fire, she whirled on the second, her strikes precise and furious. She wasn’t fighting just for survival; she was fighting to escape her own feelings, her pain.

As they battled their way through the horde, Noah couldn't deny the admiration he felt for Eunhwa. She was fearless, relentless—a **** to be reckoned with. And when a zombie managed to grab her leg, its teeth inches from tearing into her skin, it was Noah who shot it, his bullet ripping through its rotting flesh. He wouldn't let her die, not here, not like this.

They fought tooth and nail, side by side, each covering the other's back. The room was a blur of decaying flesh and putrid stenches, of sweat, and adrenaline. But they were alive and together. That was all that mattered.

As the last zombie fell, the office became a graveyard, filled with the grotesque bodies of the dead. Eunhwa leaned on her bat, her breath coming in ragged gasps, her silver hair a wild, blood-splattered tangle. Noah reached out, his hand finding hers, their fingers intertwining.

"We made it," she whispered, her voice raw.

Noah nodded, his eyes never leaving hers. "We did."

They gathered their supplies, and without looking back, they left the office building, hurrying home before the gunshots drew even more zombies to their location, their appetite for danger and close shaves full for the day.
