Noah's Book Reading

Noah truly believes that he is the luckiest man alive. Not only is his wife the most beautiful and wonderful person in the world, but she fully supports his passion.

Frankly, he's pretty successful for an author. Sure, he's not a top 1%, but he's doing pretty good for himself, especially considering his age.

But Mary makes a lot more than he does, and it doesn't bother her at all. Not only that, she fully supports him in his dream.

He doesn't know how he got so lucky.

The event space wasn't very big, but it was packed. Despite not being a super famous author, he is something of a local celebrity. Once he finished his reading, many people stayed back to talk to him.

A group of teenage girls who wanted a selfie. A dad who's kid was too nervous to ask for an autograph. A couple where the man was nerding out while the woman looked at her partner with nothing but love in her eyes. Those were just a few of the people who wanted to meet him.

But at the end of the line, was a familiar face.

"Hi Senpai!"

This little ball of sunshine is Mya Mora. She's younger than Noah by a few years, and always looks at him like he's the coolest thing in the world.

"Mya, how many times do I have to tell you not to call me that."

"An infinite amount, because I'm not going to stop!" Noah rolled her eyes, but couldn't help but smile.

"Did you enjoy the reading?" Mya's eyes basically lit up.

"YES! Your writing is incredible Senpai! I always love hearing it, even though I've already read your books. I wish I was as good as you."

"Mya, you're a great writer. Don't you ever forget that." Mya beamed up at him, but he could see that the smile was kinda hollow.

The two talked for a while before parting ways. As Noah walked away, Mya was watching his every step.

"Oh Senpai, if only you weren't married."

When Noah got back to his car, he noticed a notification on his new app.

Sophia: Guess what bitch, you met you're first Harem Member. You can cry about it later. Mya Mora is Pink.
