Finally arriving at your destination the cab stops before a huge fence on top of the hill. A sign over the gate reads Paradise Heights Gated Community. Behind the guarded gate you see a lush forest with several building resembling ziggurats rising out of the green.

You lean into the cab paying the driver and giving him a good view of your cleavage. “You smile at him. I think you already got a generous tip on the way up here right?”

He blushes and nods.

Arm in arm, huddled under Jades umbrella, you and Jade walk up to the gate. An Armagear Security guard steps out into the rain. He is wearing a light riot armor and is carrying a submachine gun. Your face mirrors in his faceplate. “This is a gated community, please state the nature of your business here.” He grumbles in a deep voice.

Giving him a friendly smile you answer. “We are here to see Mister Ryan Black, we are invited.”

You can’t see the guards face and his voice doesn’t give away what he is thinking about the two scantily clad ladies wanting to visit the rock star. “I have to confirm that, please wait here.” He takes a few steps back and you can see his lips moving, but you can’t hear him speaking. After a short while he comes back and opens a door in the gate with a key card. “Would you please follow me ladies.”

He leads you in an office within the gate. Another guard checks your ID. After your identities are confirmed and entered into the local computer system the guars hands each of you a visitor pass. A dwarf wearing an Armagear uniform guides you to a car, which appears to be a mix between a limo and a large golf car. Almost soundless the dwarf drives you through the community and finally stops before one of the ziggurats.

“Security has been informed of your arrival and your visitor passes will open the main door. Mister Blacks residence is on the 13th floor, apartment 3.

Opening the door and passing another security guard you arrive in a courtyard in the center of the ziggurat. Despite it being in the middle of the night sunlight falls down through the shaft going all the way up to the top of the ziggurat. There is also no rain. A glass elevator leads all the way up to the upper levels. Bridges also made out of glass connect the elevator with the floors.

“Let’s be honest this isn’t as shabby as I imagined.” You say as you get into the elevator.

Jade giggles in delight. “I have seen better but it’s not all bad.” She replies.

The voice activated elevator carries you up to the 13th floor. Since there are just 4 apartments it*s not hard to find the right one. You ring the doorbell and wait.
