"Nonono!" Ley watched helplessly as the bus pulled further and further away, momentarily forgetting about her damaged pants, her only partially covered panty-clad bottom, and the crowds of people filling the street as Ley's one ticket to a better life, the bus that would take her to the application increased too an intangible speed.

Then, the miracle happened, it hit a red light.

Ley almost leapt for joy, but wisely choose instead to make a mad dash towards the the bus.

"Finally, and end to my bad luck!" Ley shouted. (It wasn't, as it happens.)

As she ran a bit of the white powder that still partially covered her flew into her nose.

Ley sneezed. When she did her hand lost its grip on her pants and the instantly fell to her knees, tripping her up and sending her tumbling to the ground. After regaining her composure and looking up Ley saw the light turn green and watched as the bus rolled away.

Before Ley could realize that she now was barring her panties to the whole street she realized that she really shouldn't be in the street to begin with as car honked behind her. Ley clambered to her feet as more honking sounded, loosing he pajama bottoms entirely as she tried to get away. Once she was safely on the side walk Ley took a moment to assess herself. She was pantless in the middle of the sidewalk, and there where probably a few dozen people looking at her. Her pajama bottoms where now being repeatedly run over by traffic with the only good news being that if she pulled it down her baggy top could cover her panties. Leys cheeks began to glow red as she looked around. She could go back to the orphanage, somehow try to make it to The Application on foot, or try to recover her pajama bottoms.
