"So, what's this all about?" asked Barry.

"Belle has had an epiphany," said Bailey. "She realized she is very grateful for what we do for her, and is very happy about her new car. She and I are going to spend today together and get to know each other better. Belle, tell your father all of that is true then go upstairs and get dressed."

"Daddy, it's all true," said Belle. She then left and went upstairs.

"Wow, I'm stunned," said Barry as Bailey set a cup of coffee in front of him.

"No more than I am," said Bailey. She wanted to jump up and down and cheer like a girl who just made the cheer squad. "What do you want for breakfast?"

"Eh, cereal will be fine. I'll get it," said Barry.

"I'm going to get dressed," said Bailey. She kissed Barry on the forehead and went upstairs. She marched into Belle's room.

Belle looked up angrily but with fear in her face and her voice quivered as she said, "I don't know what's going on, but...."

"No speaking unless I give you permission!" said Bailey closing the door behind her.

Belle stood in shock and fear.

Bailey stood with her hands on her hips. "You will say 'yes ma'am' any time I tell you something. You will act like you are perfectly happy obeying me. Do you understand?"

"Yes, ma'am," said Belle weakly but with a smile.

"Good," said Bailey. "Now you and I are going to spend all day today. It'll be a step-mommy - daughter Saturday. I'm going to take you for a make-over and buy you a new wardrobe." She smiled evilly.

Belle swallowed hard. She knew she had treated her stepmom very poorly and was scared about what Bailey had in store for her ****.

"Don't bother fixing your hair and make-up," said Belle. "Just put on jeans and a t-shirt, no bra, and meet me downstairs in twenty minutes. Understand?"

"Yes, ma'am," said Belle with her fake smile.

Bailey left and went to her room to get dressed and fix her hair and make-up.

Twenty minutes later, Belle, her hair still a mess and with no make-up was waiting in her jeans and t-shirt.

"Let's go," said Bailey. They went to the garage and got into Bailey's SUV.
