AJ was too steps ahead of the English woman however, ducking under the kick and running the ropes, to come back with a Thez Press to the surprised Paige. Now on top of her opponent, AJ rained down a flurry of punches to the pale girl.

Paige tried desperately to block the barrage, and eventually managed to push the rabid woman off her, before scurrying to the corner to regroup. She did not get much of a chance however, as not a second after Paige got to her feet and leaned against the corner, AJ came flying at her opponent knee first in the chest. Paige recoiled in pain, clutching her chest where the blow hit. However once again she did not have much time to elevate the pain, as the sole of a Chuck Taylor boot drove into her neck; AJ putting all her weight into her leg on Paige’s throat.

Paige’s momentary saviour came as the referee called for AJ to separate from her opponent. The first ever NXT Women’s Champion fell to her knee’s clutching at her throat and coughing from the **** by AJ. Paige was disorientated, she needed to regain her bearings. So she attempted to crawl away in any direction, hoping that it was away from AJ. Unfortunately for the brit, little AJ Lee was on her fast, grabbing Paige by the hair and forcing her to her feet in a headlock. From this position, AJ started to run forward, before delivering a Bulldog to the Diva of Tomorrow.

Paige was now left sprawled on the mat, with AJ now seeing her first real opportunity. Picking Paige up to a seated position, AJ grabbed the bottom of Paige’s top, she started to pull the piece of clothing off the young woman.
