Jake needed to reset his mind before using the app again. He had gone through too much in those short two days. As much as he wanted to continue to explore the app, he needed to be reminded of his normal life.

Jake continued with his regular, boring life for a couple weeks. He had noticed that Charlie and him were having sex more often. Maybe Charlie was putting in more of an effort. Or maybe Jake was just always ready to go due to him reminiscing about his time with Kristi. Jake couldn’t tell one way or the other, but he didn’t mind.

Jake found himself back in bed beside Charlie when he made a move on her. Jake slowly started kissing and sucking her neck, while exposing her breast. Charlie was still reading something on her iPad, her mind elsewhere.

“Jake, we need to talk.” She said.

Jake continued with his **** down Charlie’s body, kissing down her shoulder. He mumbled an agreeable tone before continuing.

“Kristi spoke with me today. I think there is something wrong.” Charlie said.

Jake was only half listening. His main focus was getting his wife undressed and in the mood.

“She said something unusual happened today.” Charlie continued, not waiting for a response. “She said she missed her period.”

“Kids skip classes all the time. Nothing to be worried about.” Jake said as he continued down Charlie’s body, now nibbling around her breast.

“Not that kind of period, Jake.” Charlie said.

Jake shot straight up and stared at his wife. He could tell she was serious. Oh fuck. It really happened. His hearing started to get fuzzy and his vision started to close in. He quickly and clumsily got up and ran to the bathroom. He made it just in time to puke into the toilet. He started getting a cold sweat on all over his body. He was having a massive panic attack.

“Jake, are you okay.” Charlie said worryingly.

“Yeah, must have been something I ate.” He lied. He sat on the ground for a minute, trying to think of a way to control the situation at hand. Before he could, Charlie was back discussing Kristi.

“I didn’t know she was sexually active. Who could have gotten her pregnant?” She asked.

“Have they debunked the toilet seat thing?” Jake said, hoping to find some sort of explanation other than the truth, even if it was unreasonable.

“Yes. You can’t get pregnant from sitting on a toilet seat.” She sighed. “No point worrying about it tonight. Let’s get some sleep and then we can talk to Kristi together in the morning.”
