The jog lasted for about half an hour before Daniel decided to head back to the beach house. He was pleasantly surprised by Rae. She kept up with him nicely, even though he was deliberately trying to loose her. As they walked back instead of jogged, Daniel looked over at Rae. She wasn't even panting.

"You know, I'm shocked you kept up so well," Daniel confessed as they entered the house.

She chuckled. "I was a track star in high school," she said as she collapsed on the sofa.

"Really, I just thought you were the nerdy sister," Daniel responded, taking his shoes off and sitting beside her.

"I was not only the track star, but president of the chess club, runner up in the science fair, and even tried out for the basketball team," she smiled as she found the remote and started searching for a movie.

"Wow, I apologize," he said with a grin.

They spent the afternoon watching movies until Daniel decided it was time to make dinner. He didn't know exactly what to make, but he knew that everyone would enjoy pizza. It was fast, easy, and took a lot off his plate by calling out for it. He knew that Tessa, Natalee, and Danny loved supreme. Kika, Crissy, Xander, and Seth loved the veggie pizza, however, Rae and Daniel liked simple cheese.

An hour later, with eight pizzas on the counter, the entire family piled their plates with pizza. Daniel glanced at the pizza boxes after the rest of the family had finished. Six and a half pizzas were gone in less than two hours. He shook his head and started to break the boxes down so they'd fit in the trash can better.

While the rest of the gang went to the living room to watch a movie, Rae stayed in the kitchen to help Daniel. After all the boxes were broke down and the leftovers put away, Daniel sighed. He looked at the beach. Maybe taking a walk along the beach wasn't such a bad idea.

"Going to the beach?" Rae asked.

"I think so," he said, opening the door and heading out.
