You arrived early enough that nobody else was assigned to be a Cardinal in the amount of time it took you to read the pamphlet and continue on towards the door. Upon walking up to it, you find no door handle of any sort, and no obvious way to open it. Strange. You decide to return to the pamphlet and see if you can find any details on how to get this door to open, surely it’s meant for you to open as a Cardinal now. You find a section titled Capital Room and decide that this must be where the door leads and begin reading the description.

Cardinals Capital Room:

The Cardinal Capital room is one that feels very light and free. The floors are a shiny black that reflect the constellations of the stars in the night time, and gleam brightly, shining and reflecting sunlight during the daytime. The room’s entire ceiling is a massive skylight that allows for tons of natural lighting during the day from the sun, and allows for the moon/stars to light up the night sky when it’s not very cloudy outside, giving the students in the room a full glimpse of the sky at all times.

Between the ceiling and the floors are light yellow walls that change shades/tone as the sunlight reflects off of them, meaning they grow darker at night and brighter during the day. The paintings on the wall are of various types of birds- with the Cardinal prominently featured, as well as sunrises and sunsets from various different places with different colors. Additionally, in the North East corner of the room on the East Wall, students can say the words “East Is Up” and access in a hidden drawer the Civ’s prized possession, the Cardinal Feathers.

A large portion of the decorations, furniture, surroundings, decorations, etc. are wood based, to symbolize the tree of the Cardinal’s home, and they are in some ways similar to a tree house, only of course of the highest quality and sturdiness, as is the rest of the room despite being built in a place that has the shell of a tree on the exterior. While there are no windows in the actual Capital Room, in part because of the skylit ceiling not requiring their use, there is a window in every student’s dorm room for them to view outside if necessary, for those who aren’t afraid of heights. As a result of the location of the rooms, this is the hardest room to find, and while the security password protocol may seem to be “easy” to those who know it, finding the location of the entrance is enough of a challenge that the other students don’t even dare try and find the Cardinal room, having the fewest faker attempts of any of the Civilizations yearly.

The Entrance to the Cardinal Capital Room is the furthest East “building” in the school complex, and can be accessed by finding the tallest tree on campus, which is not actually a tree, but an elevator that can take students up and down levels as a secret entrance. This does mean that students can only access the main entrance from the outside, however there is an underground entrance for situations in which it is necessary, where there is an image of the same tree posted on the furthest most east wall of the main hall that connects via tunnel system, where the students must always continue to go straight East and the other tunnel directions are dead ends and diversions that some students like to go to just for quiet space and some privacy. If a student that isn’t a Cardinal attempts to “break in” to the Capital room, they will be blown backwards by a massive gust of air/wind and land in a pile of feathers. If a faker does manage to pass the initial challenge, they will still have to clear the backup security as well, knowing the phrase “East Is Up” once the elevator is accessed- the same phrase used to see the Cardinal Feathers inside the room. For the fortunate people able to access this prized area, they will find positively shiny light around them and brightness that will help illuminate their lives in a joyful manner.

After reading, you come to the conclusion that the password must be “East Is Up”, and type it in to the security system. The door then opens and you see an absolutely massive room exactly as it was described in the pamphlet. Your eyes flutter a little bit in shock, impressed at the sights as you can see a very significant portion of the campus from the height. You take a look around and find all kinds of places that suit your needs and wants, from places to study to socialize, etc..

The next question now is where is the next stop? Do you want to go to the main hall and maybe meet other students from other Civilizations? Find your Dorm Room and get set up? Wait in the Capital Room for other Cardinals to show up? Find some of the classrooms or facilities and get a look around campus? As long as you’re at the main hall by 5 PM for Class Dinner you’re going to be fine, and it’s only 9:30 AM Now.
