I decided to trust my gut feeling and not open the door to the strange lady.

I started to walk away from the door and as I turned around the corner I heard the door knob start to make a noise.

I look around the corner to see what's making that noise and I see the door knob wiggling and suddenly the door lock unlocks and the door swings wide open.

Instinctively I pulled back my head around the corner.

I don't see who opened the door but I was pretty sure that it was the woman who was ringing my doorbell.

I just hope whoever just broke into my house didn't see my head.

I didn't know what to do, this was the first time something like this had ever happen, I didn't know if I should try to hide or if I should try to run away instead or to even try to confront the trespasser but that idea sounded dumb and a good way to get myself killed but I didn't have much time to think and I needed to do something fast.
