No time at all

Derek had closed their eyes more then intent on waiting as long as they needed to, if they needed to wait just as many decades before visiting, or even multitudes more, they were fine with that. They would wait as long as it took, their was nowhere better Derek had to be and its the least he could do for killing her, even if she did literally tell him to do it and was happier for it. Suddenly from the soft and recently placed dirt from the grave in front of him a beautiful white figure snaked out of the ground and shot into the air with vigor and energy. No mistake could be made, it was definitely his beloved Felicia, she had a giant grin on her face and her long straight hair she had when he died was down to where her butt met the ghost tail. It was the spitting image of the Felicia he had seen when he died, she appeared to be wearing her favorite gray sweater like shirt, and the beginning of her softest pair of skinny jeans she had been wearing that day. Though purely white he could still remember back the beautiful dark blue eyes that the shape matched, and he could remember the luscious brunette coloring of her hair. Of course their was also the unmistakable sound of her exhilaration and joy that was hard to miss as she flew around in circles and cheered.

"I haven't felt this good in YEARS! Its like when we were barely not teenagers anymore! I feel so free and full of energy! And I can fly around to! Oooh! I can see our house from here! Hehehe! I feel so ALIVE! Honey why didn't you tell me that this was so amazing?!" she said continuing to fly through the air like a crazed fighter pilot as Derek's face darkened and as she finally settled down and floated in front of him her face fell. "Oh...I see..." it hit her, she was the same "age" considering she was a ghost age probably wasn't a concept that applied to her anymore but she basically looked like she did when he died...meaning when he died it wasn't a catharsis it was...about the same...but worse cause it was without his beloved in his life. She attempted to hug him, through sheer **** of will, and Derek smiled feeling the wimpiest and most barely their hug ever, ghosts were exactly designed to hug the living or "the living" but he appreciated her attempt. "I'm ready to become like you dear! What should I be?" she said as Derek pondered that question.
