No place like home

Lara looks up at the genie. She could grant her almost anything and she was not in a position to be picky. Her life currently depended on being in this thing's good graces. She had no idea how long it would take to dig herself out of this pile of gold pieces, and every moment she was stuck here, she was completely helpless and naked.

"I wish to be back home in England, at the British Museum."

“Done!” The Genie waves her hand once more.

Lara opened her eyes to find that she was now at the British museum. However, not in the way she had hoped.

The ropes binding her hands are gone, but she is still naked. To make matters worse, she is frozen stiff, unable to move or speak.

She is stuck on a podium, every inch of her skin has been painted bronze, and she is wearing a Roman helmet. She has been posed like an ancient statue, holding a spear and a shield, but they are held at her sides, and do not cover her naked body.

The museum goers take photos of her, believing Lara to be a statue part of the exhibit, and continue walking around her. The genie reappears. Lara tries to speak, but only manages a small squeak.

“Don’t fret Lara, I have granted your wish, and returned you to the British museum in London. The catch is however, that I have painted you like a statue and frozen you with magic. Do not worry though, the spell will wear off by the end of the day. And by then, news of your statue imitation will be spread all across the city. Take care!”

The genie disappears, and Lara is left cringing in the museum. Her face turns a deep crimson as she hears what has become her new reality. she is naked and there is truly nothing she can do to cover myself. The paint has dried on her skin and her muscles are still stiff from her freezing. All she can do is to wait the day out and hope that by the time the spell wears off, this embarrassment is all over.
