Chapter 3 by taipan909 taipan909

How does she change reality?

No more women

With a deep breath, Anna closed her eyes and concentrated really hard. There was a sensation, like her ears popping, and then nothing. Her eyes opened again. Nothing seemed different. Her room was still the same, and so was she. She sighed in disappointment. Maybe it hadn't worked after all.

There was a knock at the door. "Come in," groaned Anna.

A lanky man walked in. Anna perked up at the sight of him. "Who are you? I haven't seen you in the castle before."

He laughed. "Surely you jest, your highness. Why, I have been serving you dutifully since you were but a babe!"

Her jaw dropped. "Gerda?"

"No, your majesty. I'm Gjurd, remember?"

It has worked! She silently celebrated her victory, but physically composed herself as if she hadn't just changed reality and all of history. "Of course, Gjurd. I was only joking. Say, have you seen Elsa around?"

"Ah, another joke! Yes, King Elliott was in the second drawing room on the western wing."

"Would you mind taking me to him?"

Gjurd smiled softly. "Not at all, princess. Follow me."

He led her through the winding halls of the castle, past dozens of servants, every single one of them male. Anna blushed at the thought of them all, waiting on her on hand and knee. Soon, however, she could not ogle at her staff any more for she had arrived at the door to the drawing room. Gjurd left with a nod.

Hesitantly, she knocked on the hardwood door. "Els- Elliott? Can I come in?"

A gruff voice called back to her. "Yes, it's open."

She carefully crept inside.

What does Elliott look like?
