No-Holds-Barred Matches

These unusual matches are referred to by many names among ECL fighters and fans, and are subject to a number of minor variations in their setup, but the overall concept is the same: this is a match for which most or all of the usual rules are waived and fighters are free to do as they please.

Victory conditions vary depending on the stipulations of the participating fighters. For your convenience, these have been collected here into subcategories, listed by the names by which they are usually known.

No-mercy matches: End when one fighter is unable to continue.

“I Quit” matches: End when one fighter is unwilling to continue.

Total domination matches: End when one fighter agrees to a sexual stipulation, or set of stipulations.

Grudge matches: End when both fighters agree to stop. It is common for the winning fighter to refuse their agreement until they feel they have sufficiently overpowered their opponent, hence the name.

IMPORTANT NOTE: ECL policies still apply to no-holds-barred matches. Violations will be punished just as severely as in any other match type.
