Chapter 4

But will you let him come inside?
No. It's not a good idea.
"No. That's not a great idea. I barely know you." Seamus retracts his hand. "I know." His voice is tinged with something bitter, like anger and jealousy, only darker. You start to open the door, but he pushes the locks. You muster up your courage and give him an incredulous look. He softens. "Roark is here." Roark? Your head spins. You know that name. You had an imaginery friend name Roark when you were a child. The two of you used to laugh and play games here when you visited during the summer. He was an elven prince. You bite your bottom lip. Doesn't make much sense. "Roary?" You sputter, and Seamus nods unhappily. "What the hell is going on here?" You pull at the door once more, with no luck and the Elven Prince now appears beside the car, close to the window. His hair is chin-length and a pretty shade of bright red. His green eyes. You remember those too, seem amused. He doesn't try to open the door, but instead looks to Seamus and Seamus nods. He begins to explain to you that he and Roark are step-brothers and both madly in love with you. You don't remember Seamus because you never had seen him when you were children. He used to hide in the shadows and watch while Roark and you played. "Come with me." Roary finally opens the door for you.
Stay with Seamus or go with Roary?
