"Julie!" she says in a fit of giggles as though not knowing her name were the funniest thing in the world.

"Julie..." you conclude, trying not to notice how her giggling makes her chest bounce pleasantly. "I think I'll just go wait for the orientation to start. Thank you for your help," you say, pocketing the key card and heading off toward the elevator. Julie waves good-bye to you in a...creepily familiar sort of way, almost as though she expects to see you again soon and in less...professional settings. You smile as the elevator doors close and shake your head a little once they block vision of you, thoroughly creeped out. Oh well, in a few hours it won't be your problem anymore so you aren't going to worry about it. Inside the elevator you see buttons for 32 floors, plus 3 basement levels, and a device for you to swipe your key card.

You've already decided to head to orientation so swipe your card and hit the 6. Soft music begins to play inside the elevator and it begins to slowly ascend. The elevator ride is...well it's like any other elevator ride, slow and dull and boring. You have to stifle a yawn as you watch the numbers tick by bit by bit.

Your eyes are fixated on the glowing red digital numbers displayed inside the elevator while you lean against the backside of the elevator, unable to stifle the next yawn that fights to escape your lips.

Almost there, your eyes are a little heavy by this point, you've been fighting fatigue for what seems like hours, even though it hasn't even been a single minute yet, and you ache for the opportunity to just not have to fight anymore.

You let out a soft sigh, and your eyes flutter closed for a moment while you relax a bit more. When they open again you realized you missed your floor, but you're not too worried, the elevator wouldn't lead you astray, that's just not what elevators do after all, elevators take you where you want to go. So wherever the elevator is taking you, that must be where you want to go. That makes sense.

Mhmm...the elevator is taking you down...down....down.... That's where you wanted to go, you wanted to go down, deeper and deeper downward. Your eyes want to close, but you need to keep watching the numbers, keep counting down, deeper and deeper with each number as your mind drifts, your body relaxes, and your will softens.

Did you just miss your floor again? No, the elevator wouldn't do that, wouldn't lead you astray. You just need to stop thinking about it so much. Trust in the elevator, trust in SoftFirm, and Accept what they tell you to.

You blink your eyes to full alertness. Were you just daydreaming in the elevator? You hope you didn't miss your floor... You look at the floor number, a 6, and breathe a sigh of relief. Good, the elevator woke you up just in time to get off, a pleasurable tingle runs through your body for some reason but you just Accept it and don't worry about it too much.

With that completely uneventful elevator ride finally over you can now make your way to orientation, room 9 if you recall correctly. You find that, moving down the hallway, you're presented with a variety of doors, odd numbered on the left, even numbered on the right, and all of them with a key card reader on top of their handles. Experimentally you try one and find it to be locked. Feeling scientific you try your lvl 1 key card, and unfortunately it doesn't unlock the door, so you make your way to room 9, another locked door, and try your key card there instead. With a soft _beep _the door clicks and you can pull it open. Julia said you were very early, so you wonder if anyone will be inside the room.
