No, this is crazy!
"But-?" The boom is gone from the old man's voice. "Who would actually turn down this power?"
You shrug.
"Well, fuck you, then. Get out of my sanctum!" He waves a hand and you're flung through a nearby door.
You find yourself sitting in your car on the side of the road. That sure was a weird hallucination. How long were you out? A couple hours? Geez. Tomorrow you really need to see a doctor. You're lucky you didn't get into a car wreck when you blacked out.
And so you go on with your mundane life.
