"Well, you see, I don't believe your manifest; I think you must have something valuable hidden away somewhere and shielded from our sensors. As for your nuke, that's not much of a threat. Nukes are such delicate weapons, a single shot from a plasma rifle should be enough to prevent it from detonating. So how about this deal? First, you all be good and surrender, then we search your ship and take everything of value, including you. And we'll leave all the men alive so long as they don't resist or cause problems. How does that sound?"

"What you expect us to trust you, your pirates, if you were trustworthy, you wouldn't be here in the first place."

"Ok, then how about this deal? You take the cargo, then I come with you with my nuke, and you drop out of hyperspace while my family continues on their way; after 20 hours, I surrender. But if you try to disable me or return to hyperspace before that, I'll detonate it. How does that sound? Alternatively, you can all risk your lives and possibly get no loot; you know that we'll kill some of you if you try to take the ship. So what's it to be some safe, high-value loot or take the gamble?"

"And how are we supposed to know you won't detonate it as soon as your onboard our ship?" He challenges.
