"I heard you were traveling to the capital and... I wanted to know if I could travel with you there?"

The man pondered for a moment before deciding.

"Hmm... I suppose that's fine" Before Elena could respond the man turned around and climbed on the coachman's seat.

Elena took that as a queue, and climbed into the back of the wagon. Once inside, she was amazed with the amount space remaining despite the sizable amount of merchandise, furthermore, the seats were cushioned and provided a comfortable ride. Elena was happy, and began humming in a sweet voice in the back catching the attention of the merchant. He briefly looked behind into the wagon before looking ahead again, and tried to start up a conversion with her.

"So, what brings you to the capital? Fame or Fortune?"

"Adventure"

Elena replied in a blunt manner, without meaning to be rude, however she was dreamy of finally being able to become an adventurer and had forgotten her manners.

"What's that? Come over 'ere so we talk properly"

The man gave the seat next to him a pat, signaling for her to sit next to him while they travel. Seeing no reason to refuse, she obliged and sat next to him. The man asked her several more questions and introduced himself as Brom, a traveling merchant. When asked why she wanted to to venture to the capital she excitedly expressed her desire to become an adventure while he sat and listened. Before long, her lack of sleep took hold of her, and she drifted to a dreamy slumber.
