Blair smiled while gazing into Ellinor's eyes and said. "But of course, Ellinor." Things were not even close to what either of them had expected once they stepped through the window. They found much had changed, the mansion was devastated, corpses were scattered among the ruins, many of the bodies were not ones that Blair nor Ellinor recognized. While Ellinor was checking some of the corpses, Blair was looking into the distance, this scene was reminding her of the image she saw within the mirror when she had originally refused Master Tong's offer. The sky was torn, and the sun itself was missing, while these thoughts ran through her mind, an eerie flapping sound hummed through the air as a huge bone dragon flew over head. Blair's eyes widened as not only an odd sense of familiarity resonated within herself, that dragon, and this place. It was the first time she felt at peace, like she had finally returned home.

She hadn't ever felt at home anywhere, but here felt oddly, right. Was there something Zane and the others had been hiding from her? She shook her head while thinking, 'No, I am just overthinking things again.'. Ellinor stood up and said. "I don't think my Polarized Spectral Tungsten Coils did this." Ellinor moved over to Blair and hugged her gently while continuing to speak. "I haven't been in a place like this in a long time, but it has me worried. I do not see Zane or the others anywhere." Blair's eyes focused once again on that huge bone dragon as it flew over them once again. It seemed to be circling around something in the distance, but wasn't paying them any attention. She decided to use Observe on it.

She sighed softly before kissing Ellinor's cheek and said. "My guess is we'll find answers at the center of where that dragon's flying." Ellinor nodded before they began to make their way towards the hanger area behind the ruins of the mansion. It was bizarre that the area inside this illusion barrier was so much bigger than she had expected it to be. Perhaps this had something to do with being better at making illusion barriers. 'A question for another time.', she thought while they came up on the hanger where, Zane and Master Tong were fighting. Their clash was obviously too dangerous for them to get near, but sadly it was a bit too far to hear. Blair had a bright idea. She asked Ellinor to stay quiet while she used an ability to listen in on what they were talking about before she toggled on, Listen for 10 Mp, focusing on Zane and Master Tong. - 10 Mp

This was what Blair overheard.

Zane: "Seriously, did you really think I hadn't noticed the trap you had laid for Blair? Having her trigger it was all a ploy to lure you out here with your guard down."

Master Tong: "I know I shouldn't be surprised, but that was rather cold of you. Throwing Blair, your underlings, and even your daughter under the bus just to get to me."

Zane: "Say what you will, but this is for the good of the world and its people. A few lives isn't much to ask for when you are ensuring that billions of others are safe in return."

Master Tong: "Really now? I do things for myself, sure, but to sacrifice your own child for your goals? Even I couldn't stoop that low."

Zane: "I don't want to hear that from you. She would have gladly sacrificed herself for the greater good."

Master Tong: "All of this for what? To stop one person from having powerful abilities in necromancy? Sure, she's likely to surpass me by leaps and bounds, but hell. You don't even know what she would do with it. All of this heartache and destruction. All of it because you wish to kill me then destroy her. You aren't even trying to lead her in what you consider to be the right direction. All because you are afraid of what her powers could do if she were to pick up necromancy. Wow, and you call me evil."

Zane: "You are evil. You lack discipline. Taking short cuts and doing whatever you can to please whatever whims you are currently nursing in your dark heart! You both need to be cleansed from this Earth."

Master Tong: "You sound like a parent who has lost control, but I think you should stop talking before Blair has heard anymore of what you've done."

Zane: "What? You're full of it. I made sure she couldn't get in here."

Master Tong: "You should know me better than that. Lying isn't something I do. If I didn't wish you to know. I wouldn't have told you in the first place."

Blair couldn't believe her ears. This had to be a lie. Emiko, Sandro, and Nora weren't actually dead. They, they couldn't be, right? 'This has to be some sort of sick joke.', she thought. Her mind turned its attention back to the reality of this situation. Wait, uh oh, she had seen this sort of thing in video games before. This wasn't good, it was likely that Zane would come for her next. She toggled off, Listen right after another tick of 5 Mp was taken. - 5 Mp She looked to Ellinor and said. "You need to get out of here now, Ellinor. It isn't safe here. I will explain everything later, just go." Ellinor's eyes widened, but she nodded and said. "Fine, but you better be right behind me. I love you, Blair." Ellinor started to run towards the exit. While Ellinor was running, Blair's quest turned itself in.
