"Yesterday?" replied Ms. Cole. "I don't remember you being in my office yesterday."

"That's ridiculous," Nate said. "I was just here."

"No offense, but I think I would remember if I had a naked student in my office."

"Are you sure?" he asks.

Ms. Cole sighs and says, "Fine. I'll check my agenda for yesterday, if that will satisfy you."

She reached into her desk and pulled out a tiny notebook and began flipping through it. As she did so, Nate was reminded of how surreal it was to be sitting fully nude in his counselor's office. Granted, he had done this yesterday, and he has been naked in public many times since the start of his adventures, but those were all planned. And right now he was in his school's front office, fully nude, wearing nothing but his backpack, and he didn't know why, which made it all the more strange and slightly terrifying.

"Ah, here it is," she said, finding the page. She reads it. "Nope, I had a meeting with another student yesterday around this time, but I wasn't with you."

This did not help Nate's confusion. "No," he insists. "You're wrong. I was here! I know it!"

"Calm down," she tells him, a little concerned. "We all forget things now and again."

"So I wasn't here yesterday?"

"Nope."

"Who was?"

"I'm sorry, I can't give you that information. When I meet students is private."

"Okay, I understand," Nate says. But then, suddenly, he jumps out of his seat and grabs her agenda.

"Excuse me! That is highly inappropriate!"

Normally he would have just used his powers to get her to give it to him, but he didn't have his powers anymore. He flipped over the notebook, found the date and time.

"Aha!" he said. "You had a meeting with Nate Lawmaker yesterday! It says so right here?"

"Yes," Mrs. Cole answers. "So what. I meet with students all the time. Now hand me back my notebook."

He throws it back on her desk.

"I knew you were lying," he tells her.

"First of all," she says. "I shall be reporting this incident to the principal. This behavior will not be tolerated in this school. And second of all, I don't know what you're getting at, but I never lied. I told you that I had a meeting with another student around this time. And as you saw when you so rudely stole my agenda, I had a meeting with Nate Lawmaker, and you are not him."

"What?!" Nate asks.
