No, just a shared lover's dream

Ash woke up, feeling a furry figure his size right next to him. That assured Ash that the day before wasn't a dream, but he remembered a dream anyway. A wonderful dream he and Victini shared through psychic powers all about them loving each other. It was euphoria that he never wanted to disappear. He finally opened his eyes to see a pure blue looking back at him.

"Good morning, Tini." Ash said, causing her to light up and hug him a little tighter. "C-can't breathe..." Ash said. "So...cliche..." Victini released him and flew up a bit, but found it a little hard to, as she was already a bit bloated. "Ashurie! I'm so sorry...oh Arceus..." she descended to the ground, exhausted, even though she just had a good night's sleep with her mate.

"Victini?" Ash flew over to his partner to see her putting her arms around her stomach. "I didn't think the egg would develop that fast." She said, with a bit of chuckling. "Wait, do you mea-" "No, i'll most likely lay it tomorrow or the next day. It's a good thing it'll hatch in spring." Victini said, flashing a cute smile at her lover. Ash was a tad confused. "How can a child develop so fast?" "Don't ask me. My father knows all, though." She said somewhat jokingly as Ash escorted her back to the nest.

"I'll get some berries for breakfast." Ash said to his mate, who reclined on some soft leaves to rest. She simply gave Ash a thumbs up.

Ash laughed before he left, and covered the den just in case of intruders. And so he went to find berries for his pregnant wife.
