“Morgan Hamilton I find you . . .” the stern official reads from his scroll.
Angered by the judge’s unwillingness to even acknowledge your existence, and a bit nervous knowing what his verdict will be, you loudly interrupt him in mid sentence.
“You’re mindless prattle is boring me little man.” You boldly proclaim. “All you royalist toads can do is mindless croak out the injustice that keeps your pockets lined in gold from the common people you steal it from.”
The judge looks down at you with rage in his eyes. At least you have gotten his attention; whether it was wise or not is another matter. Your only hope is that your populist play might have brought you some sympathy from the crowd assembled in the courtroom.
