No, he's smarter than that

Beldin slowly backed into forest. There were several factors that he had to take into account.

First, they were new in this valley. There might be other forces - better allies… or enemies. His mother always thought him of the importance of minding his surroundings. Making contact before knowing everything of situation in valley, was something against assassin’s teachings. Maybe they will find greater allies. A decision of making contact now, could mean clan’s destruction.

Second, he didn’t knew this orc’s customs. There were many kind of orcs. Some were cooperative and made good allies, some cared only about fight, others were less intelligent than goblins and some seen other creatures as nothing more than food and breeding stock. They might never accept him… his clan as an allies. There was no guarantee that, after hearing him, they wouldn’t kill him and conquer the rest of clan.

Finally, even if he delivered his entire clan to these orcs… what then? He as a part of a tribe? Considering how short-lived orcs were, how often there was infighting… his survival chances were slim. Even if he would survive, he would never be given a position of power.

No, Beldin had much higher chances for power with his clan.

His kin would rule this valley and he would be among them. If he played this right, maybe mother would grant him few slaves or surface post with few subordinates.

He made his way back, to his siblings. It wasn’t long before he found them.

His sisters travelled silently, as all elves do. Compared to orcs and humans, they were stealthy. Compared to him, a drow assassin, they were loud. Except Diamas, she was almost as stealthy as Beldin… almost. He stopped before the eldest of his sisters.

“There’s an orc camp ahead.” Beldin makes his report to Venium. “Before we make contact we should check rest of the valley. When we know the situation and all our neighbours, we will return here. When we do, we will observe this orcs for a time and decide whether they will make a worthy allies.

For now we should check the rest of valley. We will have to make a small detour...”
