Bedroom

You leave the room and decide that you need to head upstairs to check out what's there. You start to climb the stairs slowly and carefully as not to disturb the steps. Upon reaching the top, you can see a closed door right in front of you. You look around and see that all the doors are closed, not surprising, but annoying as you cannot see what is inside. But, then again, whatever is inside can't see you. You reach for the door that is right in front of you and you push it open slightly. You peek in through the gap you have created in the door but you can't see much. Trying to get a better look inside you push the door the rest of the way open and you ready yourself for whatever is inside.

But when the door opens nothing comes out to attack you. Cautiously you step though the threshold of the door and look around the room. It looks like a bomb went off in here. The bed is a mess, the drawers have all been pulled out and the contents have been dumped on the floor; It looks like the place has been robbed. You look around some more but find nothing of particular value. There was some old chocolate bars stashed under the bed which you gladly take.

But then out of the corner of your eye you see something move. You spin around and to your relief whatever it was, it's outside the house. You approach the window and look down on the streets below. You see a fair few zombies wandering around, no doubt your doing, but one of them catches your eyes. It is big. There in the streets was a huge zombie walking around, but this one seemed a bit off. It was walking with some sort of sense of purpose. Maybe it had seen something the others had not due to its incredible height. You shrug that thought off and turn your attention to the uneasy feeling that has just sprang upon you. You look around sensing something. Something lurking in the dark waiting for its time to pounce.

You leave the room in a hurry and quickly walk down the stairs with your belongings and go for the front door but as you get to it you remember that there is a horde out there. You can't leave this way. So you rush for the back door and peek out the small window that allows visual access to the back garden. Seeing no immediate threat you open the door and leave the house you were once in. You look around, no longer feeling so panicked but still feeling that you need to get out of here. You spot a gate at the back of the garden that leads to a small lane that spans the streets, feeling you have no other choice, you hurry to the back gate but it's rusted shut. So you give it a shove, and another shove, and another one. Suddenly the gate flies off of its hinges and makes a loud crashing sound as it hits the wall of the lane. Now you have to make a choice.
