Trainer Scott successfully retrieved the tissue boxes and turned to leave. He closed the door behind him, switching off the light as he did so. With a relieved sigh, Vanessa and Amber emerged from their hiding spot.

"Phew, that was too close for comfort", Amber whispered. Vanessa nodded in agreement, still trying to process everything that had just happened. A shiver ran down her spine.

"Come on, let's get out of here."

Vanessa nodded, her heart racing as she followed Amber out of the supply closet. They crept down the hallway, making sure no one was around before darting back to the girls' locker room. Once there, they collapsed onto the benches, their hearts still pounding in their chests.

"That was insane", Amber said between breaths. Vanessa couldn't help but agree. She felt a strange mix of adrenaline and excitement coursing through her veins.

"I can't believe we just saw that." Vanessa whispered, shaking her head in disbelief.

"I'm just glad it's not just me anymore", Amber chuckled. Vanessa felt her cheeks redden at Amber's comment, but she couldn't help but laugh along with her teammate.

"So, you've done this before, right?", Vanessa asked Amber, more serious now.

Amber nodded, a mischievous grin on her face. "Yeah, a few times. It's kind of fun, you know? Like a little thrill." She leaned closer to Vanessa, her voice dropping to a whisper. "I've even snuck into his room once. Waste basket full of crumpled tissues."

Vanessa gasped, shocked at Amber's confession. "You did? In his room?" She couldn't help but be intrigued.

"Yeah, but I chickened out before I could see anything really good," Amber admitted, looking down at her feet. "I made that peephole. I noticed a crack in the wall of the supply room once, and I made it bigger with a knife one night. I had my suspicions about the way Trainer Scott 'analyzes' our videos", Amber grinned. Vanessa couldn't help but be impressed by Amber's bravery, even if it was a bit misguided.

"Most of the time he looks at my footage", Amber continued, "sometimes he mixes it up with the other girls, but yeah, mostly me." Vanessa couldn't believe her ears.

"He watches your footage specifically?" She asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Amber nodded, a smirk playing on her lips. "Yeah, I think he likes what he sees. I mean, of course I was mad at first, but he's also an amazing trainer and he did learn me to double jump among other things, so I guess there's no harm in letting him have his little fun on the side."

Vanessa's mind was racing as she processed this new information. She couldn't believe that Amber had been right all along. Trainer Scott was indeed more interested in more than just her technique. A mix of emotions coursed through her veins: anger, embarrassment, and an unexpected thrill. Amber's confession had opened a Pandora's box of emotions for Vanessa. She was torn between her loyalty to her teammate and the growing realization that Trainer Scott's actions were inappropriate. "I don't know what to say, Amber."

"Just answer me this, Vanessa: do you want to be the second double jumping volleyball player in the history or not?" As Vanessa tried to process Amber's question, she felt a surge of determination rise within her.

"Yes, of course I do," she said firmly, looking her teammate in the eyes. "But that doesn't mean I have to like what he's doing. It's wrong."

"It's also wrong to peep through walls into other people's rooms so there you have it", Amber said nonchalantly.

Vanessa looked away, trying to gather her thoughts. "I just... I don't know," she admitted. "I guess I'll have to figure out what I want to do next. This changes everything."
