No, The Latex Is Crawling Up Your Leg

You're irritated when you find that you can't get your foot out of that puddle, but that irritation turns to horror when you feel it pulsating on the inside! It's still moving! Even worse, you soon see that pulsation appears on the surface, as the liquid seems to be sloshing its way very slowly up your leg, moving like a snail as it envelopes you more and more. You redouble your efforts to pull out of it, but it only pulls back harder, almost throwing you off balance. With little choice, you instinctively reach down and claw at it, trying to rip it off. With every grab, some of the pink latex seems to come loose, and with every bit that seems to come loose, twice as much flows from that seemingly endless puddle. No matter what you do to struggle against it, your situation only seems to get continuously worse. In a last-ditch effort to save your leg (now coated up to the knee, that shiny substance still making its way up it), you give it one final yank, pulling with all your might and throwing your weight away from the puddle completely. You feel the stuff giving way, you feel both feet leave the ground, and then you feel a painful impact at the back of your head, followed by a deep blackness as you fade into unconsciousness.

Slowly coming out of it, you feel the rough asphalt of the street beneath you and the cool night air above it flowing past you on a calm breeze. Your head feels okay now, and your leg... your leg! You try to get up to give it a once-over, but find yourself unable to. Lifting your head, you look down your body, seeing that pink stuff that had attacked you before covering your entire body like a tight blanket, resisting any attempts at movement that you make. Only your head and neck remain exposed, the rest completely held down. The only question now is: why? Why would this stuff just hold you here? What's the point in just keeping you stuck to the ground?

Just then, as though to answer your questions, you hear a low purring behind you. Turning, you see the blue man-turned-cat stalking towards you, its yellow eyes glaring at you with a look of ravenous hunger. Once more, you try to break through that pink surface, but it reacts, squeezing back painfully until you can no longer breathe and are **** to stop. All the while, that latex cat grows ever closer, its red tongue slipping out across its lips, licking them in anticipation of its upcoming meal...
