Alex may never have an opportunity like this again, there is no telling how long she will be in this body. Ed will live, Alex can’t let Rena slip away from her without a fight.

Alex turns from the path to the gym and walks over to the cafe. Quickly thinking of a plan she shakes off her nerves and walks directly up to Rena.

“E-excuse me, sorry to interrupt. Are you Rena Antonova, The secretary for the GSA club?” Alex still not quite used to her voice, cracks it a little but tries to look as confident as she can.

Rena smiles sweetly as she hold out her hand “yes ma’am that’s me, what’s your name sweetie?”

Alex shakes her hand thinking fast “E-Ella, you can call me Ella”

Ella's heart melts as Rena giggles at her nervousness “well Ella, what can I do for you?”

Ella slowly realizes the entire table is looking at her as the two of them speak, she does her best to control her anxiety.

“W-well I know the deadline to join has passed b-but I wanted to help out and umm I-i wanted to see what I could do to build my application for n-next year”

With every word it felt easier to speak, but she still felt weird bull-shitting in front of so many people.

Rena nods her smile grows wide “Your in luck, we have a GSA party planned tonight. If you wanna come with and help set up. I’m sure you’ll make some good connections to get started.” She gives Ella a good wink, but she isn’t quite sure what the gesture means.

Ultimately it didn’t matter, this sounded like an in. Spending the day with Rena should yield her something.
