Nighttime

That evening is spent mostly relaxing and talking. Lili never does bother to put on clothes, but after a while it becomes less of a distraction. You still glance at her body, but by and large you’re able to simply have a conversation without turning sexual. It’s probably because of Lili’s personality. Cheerful and playful, she doesn’t act like it’s a big deal. She simply enjoys the freedom of nudity.

The three of you talk late into the night, Lili asking a seemingly endless number of questions. While she doesn’t seem as bright as Emi, she has a curiosity to her that is endearing. As for Emi, having another Hybrid around who immediately accepts her does wonders. While she had been more cheerful every day, something about Lili’s personality brings out happiness. It’s good to see the cat girl smiling happily.

They both sit beside you on the couch, and you quickly lose track of time. You only realize how late it is when Lili stops mid sentence to yawn. Looking at the clock, you laugh when you see that it’s practically midnight! Emi leans against you, her eyes closed, and you chuckle to yourself.

“I suppose we should be headed to bed. We have to see the doctor in the morning.”

Lili practically jumps into your arms. “Carry me to bed, I’m tired-tired!”

You laugh, holding the harpy as you stand. She’s incredibly light, even considering her small stature. “Ok, fine, but don’t expect this treatment every night.”

Yawning, Emi stands up too. “Yes, because sometimes you’ll be carrying me instead.”

Lili giggles, wrapping her feathered wings around you. Closing her eyes, she rests her head on your chest as you walk to the bedroom. By the time you lay her on the bed, she’s already half asleep. You look at Emi and laugh again.

“Guess she had a big day, huh.”

Emi nods. “A lot of firsts. And it sounded like you gave her quite the workout.”

You blush a little. “It was good. She seems to fit in with us well.”

Lili mumbles, not quite asleep yet. “I like you guys, yes-yes…”

Emi smiles. “And I like her. This was a good decision, Andy. We will make a nice little family.”

With that, she crawls into bed. You felt a warmth inside your heart when she said ‘family’. You like the sound of that. Crawling into bed, you lie down between the two Hybrids, and they immediately snuggle closer. Not only is it a good feeling, it feels…right. You’re happy, and they seem happy.
