Luke didn't answer right away so Himari stepped forward.

“I am seeing some old clients of mine. They might get worried seeing my larger size. So, I asked Luke to shrink me down. While Jesse is between Maternity photo shoots, so she asked to also have her belly reduced,” Himari lied nodding to Jesse.

“But why not remove your bellies altogether? Why keep any sign of the Pregnancy ****? And why is Ellin still huge compared to you two,” Oasis asked still confused?

Himari didn’t have the answer ready and glanced at Luke.

“That’s just a side effect of the ****. The human body needs time to adjust. Your mother and Jesse were regular size models. Ellin was an Extra Large. It is safer to grow and shrink a woman’s womb in phases,” Luke said meeting Oasis’s eyes.

“Fine, whatever,” Oasis said turning to the table.

Everyone else sighed in relief.

“Now eat up, I don’t want you to go hungry on your first day,” Himari said making Oasis a plate.

“There is a lot of food here,” Oasis said eyeing the eggs and pancakes.

“I can drive you two. I parked around the corner,” Jesse said following Ellin and Oasis out.

Luke and Himari watched them leave.

“That was sloppy. We should have come up with a better explanation. What are we going to tell my daughter when she discovers I am actually pregnant? And what will we say when she learns her mother and sister are in a harem of magic users all having your babies?” Himari said poking Luke’s side.

“I guess we just invite her into the coven at that point,” Luke said envisioning Ellin and Oasis as heavily pregnant twins.

“But now we fit in,” Jenny said interrupting with a giggle.

Everyone laughed along, except Oasis. She just scanned the crowd, subconsciously putting a hand to her middle.
